Slicing Peppers Julienne Style
Peppers not only taste great but are nutritious regardless of how they are consumed – raw or cooked. However, slicing peppers can be a pretty messy task with all those seeds. In this video, Gordon Ramsey shows us how to easily julienne a pepper without making a mess with the seeds.
All you have to do is cut off the stalk, then place the pepper down so the end with the stalk is flat on the cutting board. Next, starting from the top, slice down around the pepper and around the seeds. Finally, flatten the pepper skin side down on the board, then slice into strips.
